A country mouse met a barn mouse, who invited him back to her barn. He followed her and was at first wowed by the marvels he saw in the barn. But as the day wore on he began to find it stranger and stranger: perils lurking, food he didn’t like, and the menace of a cat. In the end, he decided that the barn was fancy, but he liked his simple life better.
